Thomas Coombs announces new Director promotions as firm prepares for future growth

Thomas Coombs, The Yorkshire Accountants, are proud to be promoting homegrown talent Shaun Pullan and Jordan Mitchell to Directors at the start of the new year.

As Thomas Coombs continues to strengthen its presence in the region, the promotion of Shaun and Jordan reflects the firm’s sustained growth and dedication to delivering exceptional services to its clients and its sure-fire commitment to their independent future.

Over the past few years, Thomas Coombs has experienced significant demand for its audit, tax, and advisory services, prompting strategic investments in its people and resources to meet client needs and capitalise on new opportunities.

Shaun Pullan, currently Head of Business Services, joined Thomas Coombs in 2014 through its apprenticeship scheme. Rising through the ranks while completing his AAT and ACCA qualifications, Shaun has become a key figure in revolutionising the firm’s software offering and creating the firms first ‘outsourced’ finance team to assist their clients with daily finance functions, all whilst managing a diverse portfolio of clients with turnovers ranging from £100,000 to over £10 million.

Meanwhile, Jordan Mitchell, currently Head of Audit, joined in 2013 as a trainee accountant and has developed into a trusted leader in the audit team, looking after some of the firm’s largest audit clients, and being a key figure in the firm’s Charities and Social Enterprise department.  With expertise in group reporting and consolidation in a variety of sectors, Jordan is renowned for building strong client relationships and providing tailored support to both businesses and charities.
