Management experience is required.
For this position – Accounts and Audit Manager – we are ideally looking for someone who can tick the following boxes:
- Experience supervising a team of Audit staff within Practice.
- ACA/ACCA qualified
- Knowledgeable on cloud based products
- Excellent communication skills and able to communicate at all levels both internally and externally
- Experience of auditing including consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts and disclosures
- Strong organisational skills
- Previous experience managing people
- Up to date with all technical aspects of accounts and audits
If you fit the bill, here’s what you can expect from the role:
- Planning and completion of statutory Audit, charity Audit, SRA Audit etc.
- Act as a major point of contact within the firm for the client together with the Partner
- Delegation and review of work completed by team
- Managing overall service delivery to clients
- Managing the Audit staff – including appraisal/mentoring/workload etc
- Offering support to Partners when required
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients at senior levels, being a principal point of contact throughout the year
- Support Partners in the development of new business relationships and business proposals
- Ensure assignments are staffed with the appropriate mix of knowledge and skills required
- Recruit, retain, develop and motivate employees
- Act as a major point of contact within the firm for the client together with the Partner. This includes responding quickly to, as well as anticipating, client requests/needs, keeping clients informed of progress in relation to all aspects of the service provided and maintaining regular contact with clients.
